1. Who we are
These terms are between you and Ariel Goshe and Nir Berkovich, trading as AIelts, of Tel Aviv, Israel ("we", "us"). By creating an account or buying a preparation plan you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You can reach us at any time at aieltscoaching@gmail.com.
2. What the service is
AIelts provides preparation material for the IELTS Academic test: a diagnostic assessment, an adaptive study plan, practice in Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking, and AI-generated feedback on Writing and Speaking responses graded against published IELTS assessment criteria.
3. We are not affiliated with IELTS
This is an independent preparation service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia or Cambridge University Press & Assessment. IELTS is a registered trademark of those organisations, used here only to describe what our material prepares you for.
All practice material on this service is original and AI-generated. It is not past papers, not licensed official content, and not reproduced from any official source. It is written to match the published format and criteria of the test.
4. No guaranteed score
Band scores and feedback produced by this service are estimates generated by automated systems. They are not official IELTS results, they are not produced by certified examiners, and they may differ from the band you receive on a real test. Nothing here predicts or guarantees your official result.
5. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use the free plan. You must be at least 18 to buy a preparation plan. If you are between 16 and 18, a parent or guardian may buy a plan for you, and they accept these terms alongside you.
- Give accurate registration details and keep your password confidential.
- An account is for one person. Do not share it, resell access, or let others use it.
- You are responsible for activity carried out under your account.
6. Plans, payment and access
Two kinds of plan give the same access. The monthly plan is a subscription: you are charged when you buy it and then every month at the same price until you cancel, each payment buying the month that follows. You can cancel at any time from Settings; cancelling stops future charges and your access runs to the end of the month you have paid for. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before any change to the renewal price. A one-time plan is a single purchase granting access for a fixed window of 2, 6 or 12 weeks; it is not a subscription and does not renew. Its window starts when your payment is confirmed - not when you first sign in - and runs for 14, 42 or 84 consecutive calendar days. Neither kind can be paused, extended or transferred to another person, and unused time is not carried over when it ends.
Previously purchased 8-week plans keep their original 56-day access and refund terms.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as the Merchant of Record. Your purchase contract for payment purposes is with Dodo Payments, and Dodo Payments' buyer terms apply alongside these terms.
Prices are listed in US dollars (USD). Where we can tell which country you are likely in, the site also shows an approximate price in your local currency; it is converted at the day's exchange rate and is for guidance only. Checkout shows the exact amount in your currency before you confirm, and that amount is what you are charged. Prices include any VAT, GST or sales tax due where you live: the total displayed at checkout before you confirm is what you will be charged. Dodo Payments issues your receipt and, where applicable, a VAT invoice; if you need one showing a business VAT number, enter it during checkout.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Free plan
An account without a paid plan can use the free plan: the Reading and Listening diagnostic, 1 Reading and 1 Listening practice session per day (a day runs from 00:00 to 24:00 UTC), and 1 Writing and 1 Speaking response graded by AI per account. A response whose grading fails does not count towards that allowance; deleting a response does not give it back. Full practice tests and every other feature need a paid plan. One free plan per person: opening extra accounts to get more free use is not allowed. We may change what the free plan includes.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, bulk-download, share or redistribute our practice content or the feedback the service generates, including using automated tools.
- Resell, sub-licence or republish any part of the service.
- Submit content that is unlawful, or that contains another person's personal data without their consent.
- Attempt to interfere with, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
- Use the service to build or train a competing product or model.
If we believe you have breached this section, we will normally contact you first and give you a reasonable opportunity to stop. Where a breach is serious, deliberate or repeated - for example bulk extraction of our content, or reselling access - we may suspend or terminate your account immediately. We will tell you why, and you can respond to us at aieltscoaching@gmail.com; we will review any account we have terminated if you ask us to.
Where we terminate an account for a serious breach, we may withhold a refund of the unused portion of your plan. We will not withhold more than is reasonable in the circumstances, and this does not affect any statutory right you have.
Content generated by this service (practice passages, questions, recordings, prompts and feedback) belongs to us and is licensed to you for your own preparation only, as section 10 explains. If you share, publish, sell or otherwise distribute it to anyone else, we may take legal action against you, including claiming damages and seeking a court order to stop the distribution, in addition to suspending or terminating your account. Showing your own feedback privately to a teacher or tutor who is helping you prepare is allowed.
9. Your content
You keep ownership of the Writing responses and Speaking recordings you submit. You grant us the licence needed to store them, transmit them to the AI processors listed in our Privacy Notice, grade them, and show the results back to you. We do not publish your submissions, and we use those providers under API terms which state that inputs are not used to train their models.
10. Our content
The practice material, feedback, software and design of this service belong to us. Your plan grants you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your own exam preparation during your access window, and nothing more.
Copyright complaints. If you believe material on AIelts infringes your copyright, email us at aieltscoaching@gmail.com identifying the work, where it appears, and how to reach you. We investigate every notice, remove infringing material promptly, and terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe.
Our videos on YouTube. We publish videos on our YouTube channel using YouTube API Services. If you watch or interact with them on YouTube, you do so under the YouTube Terms of Service, and by using YouTube you agree to be bound by them.
11. Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. If we permanently discontinue the service while you hold an active plan, we will refund the unused portion. Where the original transaction is too old for Dodo Payments to reverse, we will pay you by another method.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount paid for your plan in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss - including any exam outcome, missed application deadline, or visa or admission decision.
If you are a consumer, you keep all statutory rights that cannot be excluded, and these terms do not affect them.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the updated terms on this page and change the date at the top. We will email account holders about a change only if it raises the price of a plan, giving at least 30 days' notice (see section 6). Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. Changes never apply retroactively to a plan you have already bought, and never to a month of the monthly plan you have already paid for. If you do not accept a material change, tell us before it takes effect and we will refund the unused portion of your current plan.
14. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, email aieltscoaching@gmail.com with "Complaint" in the subject line. We acknowledge within 5 working days and aim to resolve within 30 days. We are not currently a member of an alternative dispute resolution scheme. If you are a consumer in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, this does not affect your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country.
15. General
15.1 Ending this agreement. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time by emailing us. Closing your account does not by itself entitle you to a refund - see the Refund Policy - and does not affect a refund you are already entitled to.
15.2 Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of Israel, and disputes may be brought in its courts. If you are a consumer resident in the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, and you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts.
15.3 Severability. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force.
15.4 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right under these terms, that is not a waiver of it.
15.5 Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Notice and the Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between you (the customer) and us (AIelts) about the service. Where they conflict with Dodo Payments' buyer terms on payment, Dodo Payments' terms govern payment and these terms govern everything else.
15.6 Assignment. You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to a successor of our business, provided your rights are not reduced; we will tell you if we do.
15.7 Events outside our control. We are not liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If such an event prevents us from providing the service for more than 30 consecutive days while you hold an active plan, you may end your plan and receive a refund of its unused portion.
15.8 Notices. We will contact you at the email address on your account, so please keep it current. You can reach us at aieltscoaching@gmail.com.
15.9 Survival. Sections 3, 4, 9, 10, 12 and 15 continue to apply after this agreement ends.
15.10 Third parties. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
